Holiday In Sabah

Sabah is similar to its neighboring Sarawak promoting Eco-challenge holiday to the visitors.  Among the most popular activities including trekking, rafting, diving and mountain climbing. Stay at its fantastic seaside resort and relax after those challenging activities.

Visitors can go shopping at the famous local market known as 'tamu' in Kota Belud, Lebuh Gaya in Kota Kinabalu or near Mount Kinabalu. Kota Kinabalu is a cosmopolitan city with several islands on its coastline.

Kinabalu National Park (first World Heritage Site in Malaysia) and Mount Kinabalu with the height of 4.095m are among the main attractions in Sabah. A visitor who like adventure can try a two days challenge to conquer the summit of Mount Kinabalu. For those who cannot climb, they can enjoy the beautiful scenery from the park headquarters.

Orang Utan is an icon for Sabah and they are a protected species in Malaysia. Sepilok Orang Utan rehabilation Center is the best place to see them. Far inland, Kinabatangan River, Danum Valley and Gomantong Cave can be explored to see the exotic flora and fauna.

Dive site such as Mabul, Lankayan, Layang Layang and Mantanani offers a stunning views of marine life. Sipadan is undoubtedly one of the best dive sites in the world but it open for visit during daytime only.

There are an antique Borneo train operating both way from Kota Kinabalu to Tenom. A steam trains for tourists which run by Sutera Harbour Resort and Spa, will takes its passengers on a nostalgic journey into the colonial past through the verdant landscape of coastal and rural Sabah.

Domestic and international flight services available in Kota Kinabalu and from here there are flights to other destinations in Sabah. Air transport is the most appropriate way to explore Sabah. Sabah also has a good bus service system. Labuan which is a Tax-Free Island by ferry.

There are some international airlines available with direct flights from Singapore, Hong Kong, Bandar Seri Begawan, Seoul, Tokyo, Taipei, Kaoshiung and Cebu. It is also accessible worldwide through Kuala Lumpur with Malaysia Airlines.
